Partnering with Nike has always been a dream of mine.
No seriously, a D-R-E-A-M. So naturally when I found out they were releasing an all-new lifestyle shoe, I wanted to be a part of the party.
Meet the Nike Air Max 270: releasing t-o-d-a-y (yippee!), Nike’s newest lifestyle shoe designed with airbag technology that supports all things lifestyle: aka … all things. The idea behind the shoe? Create a weapon for all-day, every-day comfort. The women wearing the shoe? We, the women who dare to explore creativity, what inspires us, what challenges us, and the unknown. Today I’m going to dive into what inspires me – and that’s the great outdoors.
For me – when it comes to drawing inspiration, I seek the outdoor world, nature, life, and anything that’s out of the not-so-reality in my smartphone. I take almost two walks a day, and it’s my favorite time to unplug, relax, think, pray, walk, be still and take the outside world in. I was always taught in my fashion classes to draw inspiration from the outdoors. Whether it’s a bright colored sign, the shape or architecture of a building, or a woman’s eclectic outfit, the outdoor world is my number one source for feeling inspired. When ideas come to me, I write them down in a notepad or in my notes in my phone – whether it’s a sentence to write, a person to encourage, or an idea for styling or creating content. But it all boils down to grabbing inspo from the great outdoors. Where do you go to draw inspiration?
I wore these new (adorable) Nike Air Max 270’s for a walk with Chloe in crisp whites to showcase the shoe’s hot pop of pink. Click here to find all of the new Nike Air Max 270 shoes, here for the color I’m wearing, and here for a color I’m also swooning over.
