Accessories are just that much more fun in the fall.
There’re a lot of things we all adore about autumn: the warm colors, cozy scents, the chilly breeze. But you can’t forget the clothes. I was telling a friend just yesterday, fall is my favorite season when it comes to my job. Why? Non-stop layers, dreamy knits, chic statement pieces, mixing textures, soft pillow-y dreamy fabrics, over-sized-get-lost-in-them silhouettes, but specifically – all that fun you can have with those accessories. It makes styling that much more exciting, as you can create so much more when the temperatures drop and the warm colors are just begging to come in. Fall is my favorite season when it comes to the clothes, and specifically accessories.
Today’s outfit a la Nordstrom is one of those fall-esque outfits. Fuzzy textures? This teddy bear coat – already a majorly coveted piece by all you girls and one of my favorites that I have found via scrolling through the online racks of Nordstrom.com. Chic statement pieces? This cognac bag. I’ve been searching for a staple piece that’s of good quality, but not as expensive as my Chloe Fay bag, and this Ted Baker darling is the gem I’ve been searching for. The bag’s color? On-point. The quality? Ted Baker’s got it. The silhouette? Timeless. I love the way this bag ties this entire look together. Which brings me to my next favorite accessory: the kicks. These pointed-toe booties have been a favorite for you all and I can’t kick them off (and really don’t want to). I adore pairing these neutral booties with a t-shirt dress for running errands around town. (PS – this t-shirt dress is a must that comes in 5 colors and will transition from now-to-winter-to-spring-to-summer-and-back-to-fall-again.) Last, but not least, the non-stop accessory layers. As the temperatures drop – I bring on the scarves. This darling by Ted Baker from Nordstrom is a gem that will last for years to come.
Thank you, Nordstrom, for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.
