Dressed-Up Pumps & Leopard

When I was in college, a lot of my the vintage thrift finds in my closet were 100%… leopard.

The trend was halted with a serious boot to the notorious print for a couple of years – but this year: it’s definitely back. I’ve been on the hunt for my favorite pieces and this little leopard mini was the perfect complement to a pair of dressed-up pumps that just I couldn’t wait to chat about here. Enter: the cutest little leopard mini styled with a classic pair of pumps. First, leopard is hard. It can look a bit (I don’t want to say it but here it is:) trashy (sigh), but when it’s done right.. girl, it looks good. I styled this leopard mini with a pair of pumps by Louise et Cie. If you’re not familiar with the brand, it’s a sister brand to Vince Camuto and it’s a darling and absolutely classy and timeless kick designer found at Nordstrom. Louise et Cie’s styles have a French flair, and are timeless, classic, tailored, feminine and sophisticated. These pumps by L&C have a pointed-toe, a wrap around ankle and a small heal. The best part is they’re extremely comfortable (you know that’s my main concern when it comes to dancing in heels all night) and I love how they complement this little leopard dress in an extremely classy way. You can find more of Louise et Cie’s pumps at Nordstrom here, the nude heel pumps here, and another black pair polished for work here. XO

Great post! I’m not a leopard person myself but this little dress is so cute on you! It’s amazing how each shoe adds a different feel to this dress.
